PRODUCTS
Q'ANTATI produces an extensive variety of products using different materials such as alpaca, ceramics, wood, etc. The production is predominantly made using original techniques from the Andean cultures, but at the same time, the association has created a more industrialised workshop where it is possible to produce a wide range of products that is suitable to the demands of the International market. Every group of artisans dedicates to a particular type of product. Q'antati produces products that are originally from the Andes region, they make their own designs and they create new designs together with their clients.
The artisans of Q'antati make their own yarn using natural colours that the animal provides. They also dye the yarn using natural plants. The alpaca yarn they buy externally is also produced in Bolivia.
Ceramics: The group of artisans who works with ceramics is from the historic site of Tiwanaku. They use natural material from their local site to create their products. This group has specialised in decoration products. Musical instruments: The group of artisans that creates musical instruments is located at Walata Grande. All the instruments that they produce are indigenous Aymara instruments, such as Zampoña, Moceño, Tarka, Quena, Pinquillo, Wankaras, etc. Other products: Q'antati also works with other types of material such as lamb wool and cotton. The association has the creative capacity and the infrastructure for the creation and development of new products, according the needs of the international market.
