WHAT IS Q'ANTATI ?

Q'ANTATI, dawn in Aymara, is an association of artisans that has been working together since 1974. Today, Q'antati has got about 250 members who are divided in 11 groups, and which majority are women. The association is run by a directory that is elected every year at an assembly where all the members have the right to vote.

The directory has got a president, a secretary, a treasurer and one representative from each group of artisans. The different groups are from rural as well as urban areas. All the members are indigenous Bolivians and the majority is Aymara.

The association has got an administration office to facilitate marketing, selling campaigns, and information activities for local as well as international market.
